“Do not go where the path may lead; go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.”
-Ralph Waldo Emerson
The Cause
Founded by Paul and Joy Ridley, after losing their mother to skin cancer in 2001, Row for Hope is a cancer research charity.
Our Mission:
Row for Hope focuses solely on finding cancer cures, although we acknowledge the importance of education, prevention, and early detection. We are actively working with like-minded organizations that are established in the field, dedicated to research and have a history of funding high-potential projects.
By supporting Row for Hope, you join millions of individuals and organizations who believe that curing cancer is not only a possibility, it’s an absolute must. And we get closer every day.
The Goals:
• Raise over $500,000 for cancer research through our first project.
• Foster a culture of philanthropy in the athletic community.
• Focus public attention on the search for cancer cures.
• Promote the sport of ocean rowing and the use of athletics as a means for the advancement of worthy causes.
